Polycarbonate
Lenses
|
Transitions Drivewear Trilogy lenses
offer superior optics compared to
polycarbonate lenses. Due to a natural
property of the material, lenses made
from Trilogy offer 35% less chromatic
aberration (visible, rainbow-like edges).
When you want a lightweight prescription
driving lens with advanced photochromics
and exceptional optical properties,
Transitions Drivewear Trilogy is the lens
without compromise.

Impact Resistant
Lens Material
|
Transitions Drivewear Trilogy lenses are
made from a material with exceptionally
high impact resistance. This material
(Trivex®) was originally developed to be
used in military applications.
Transitions Drivewear lenses made from
Trilogy are the best choice for wearers
of rimless sunwear frames, because this
material is highly resistant to splintering
and breakage at the point where the
frame is attached to the lens.

Blocks
blinding glare
and harmful
UVA/UVB
|
Blinding glare occurs when sunlight reflects off a glossy surface in a way that limits your vision. Transitions Drivewear sunlenses feature an advanced polarizer that filters out this glare, allowing you to see better in any environment where reflective surfaces are present. Transitions Drivewear lenses also block 100% of UVA and UVB, as well as some of the blue light rays that medical research suggests can be a risk factor in
the development of eye diseases such as macular degeneration.

Adapts behind
the windshield
and outdoors
|
Transitions Drivewear lenses are designed
to meet the unique visual challenges of
daytime driving. They darken and change
color depending on the daylight conditions
both outdoors and in the car. For more
information about this feature, please see

Chemical
Resistant
|
Wearers expose their lenses to far more
chemicals than they realize, whether
cleaning a paintbrush, working on your
car, or just removing fingernail polish.
Over time, these chemicals can weaken
and break your eyewear, especially if it
is made from polycarbonate. Transitions
Drivewear Trilogy lenses are resistant to
household chemicals such as acetone, and
will not cloud or weaken under normal
exposure.
